PhotoScape

PhotoScape is an excellent free (batch) photo editing / printing tool. I use this tool a lot to do batch cropping and resizing of images. PhotoScape is amazingly enough 100% free without ads and nags. A beautiful and very useful piece of software.

PhotoScape comes with the following tools:

EditorView photo’s and easily convert the photo to sepia / grayscale / black-white, add photo frame, resize, adjust brightness and color, auto level and contrast, sharpen, apply filters (antique photo, news magazine print, vignetting, partial blurring, etc…). You can also add text, text baloons, shapes, lines, images, etc… Advanced photo editing like red eye correction, mole removal, clone stamp are also available. The Editor can also show you a slideshow of all the images in the folder.

Batch EditorBatch editor has pretty much the same features as the editor, but you can apply the edits to a group of images. Very handy if you need to make thumbnails that need to be in a specific size.

PagePlace multiple photo’s on one page to create a collage of photo’s.

CombineAttach multiple photos vertically or horizontally to create one final photo

Animated GIFEasily create animated gifs from multiple images.

PrintPrint portrait shots, carte de visites(CDV), passport photos.

SplitterSlice a photo into several pieces. Very handy for poster printing using multiple prints.

Screen CaptureCapture your screenshot and save it.

Color PickerZoom in on images, search and pick a color.
