Bullzip PDF Printer is a free virtual printer driver that enables you to create PDF files by printing your documents to PDF. This can be very handy if you need to email something and you want to make sure they can view it (for example if you mail a word document to someone who does not have Microsoft Word or Excel, or if you need to print something and mail it to them).
There are many other PDF creation tools out there and even packages that combine PDF reading with PDF printing like Nitro PDF. I have tried Nitro PDF and it works great on most computers but I have spotted a few small personal problems. I cannot seem to get it installed on my main computer (Windows 7 64 bit) as the installer gives an error when it is almost done installing, then rolls back the installation. I have tried resolving the problem by posting it on their forum, but so far no luck. Another issue is that Nitro PDF cannot print to an image file, thus you will need to install another virtual printer driver to be able to print to image files. Bullzip PDF can print to PDF as well as many supported image files.
What PDF printer and reader to use? If you have no problems with Nitro PDF and don’t print to image files, then I would recommend Nitro PDF. Otherwise I would recommendBullzip PDF together with Foxit PDF reader as an alternative.
